BOSCOLA REMINDS CONSTITUENTS STATE TAX REFUNDS FIGHT BREAST CANCER

BETHLEHEM (JAN 24) - State Senator Lisa Boscola is pleased to join the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) in asking residents to consider donating part of their state income tax refunds for breast and cervical cancer research.  Boscola stated that taxpayers have donated over $1.7 million for research due to these state refund donations.  The PBCC's Income Tax Check-Off is the most popular of the state's donation lines, and the average donation is just $8. EVERY DIME STAYS IN PENNSYLVANIA, and even if you don't get a refund, you can make a contribution.

As part of the PBCC's Income Tax Check-Off Initiative, PA taxpayers can join this highly successful and unique cancer research effort by checking line 35 on their PA 40, or line 17 on their PA-EZ tax forms.

"Women are surviving breast cancer now more than ever," Boscola stated.  "That is why we need to donate our state income tax refunds in order to keep funding cancer research so one day we can find cure."
