Bethlehem (June 19, 2020)- Senator Lisa Boscola (D-Lehigh/Northampton) made the following statement today regarding the Governor’s announcement that Lehigh and Northampton Counties would be entering the Green Phase on June 26, 2020:
Everyone I talk to is excited about going green. There is a real enthusiasm here in the Lehigh Valley. Some have referred to it as “gorgeous” green. People are excited to get back to their favorite restaurants, especially those without outdoor dining. People are looking forward to some outdoor concerts at the Levitt Pavilion and the comradery at the Wind Creek casino. I for one look forward to getting back into my gym to work off some of these extra pounds. I will also continue to work with the Governor and his team about what is next. The Lehigh Valley has done a great job dealing with Covid and I know we will keep up the needed mitigation efforts to keep the virus on the run.
