Boscola Reminds Residents of Electric Choice Public Forum
On March 24, 2014 ·
Bethlehem, March 24, 2014 – State Senator Lisa M. Boscola today reminded area residents that she will be holding an Electric Choice Public Forum on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. This forum will take place from 5:15pm to by 7:15pm at the Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township located at 4100 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA 18045.
“In light of the drastic variable rate increases recently experienced by many shopping electric customers, I feel this forum is an important step to help our residents understand both the advantages and pitfalls of shopping for electricity,” Boscola stated. “Participants will help educate consumers on what questions to ask and what to look for when choosing a supplier.”
This forum will provide residents with a face-to-face opportunity to learn about shopping for electricity, your rights, responsibilities and more.
Representatives from the Public Utility Commission (PUC), Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate, PPL, First Energy Corporation and Dollar Energy Fund will be attending.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this forum or would like additional information, please feel free to contact Senator Boscola’s district office at 610-868-8667.
