Bethlehem, August 9, 2013 – State Senator Lisa Boscola’s summer interns will be presenting their issue-based research projects for the public at the Bethlehem Area Public Library (Main Library) on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 starting at 11:00 AM.

“My interns have worked hard over this summer to research issues and topics that are of great interest to them and our Lehigh Valley community,” Boscola said.  “Presenting their findings and research to our area residents at the library is a great educational opportunity for my interns and the community overall.”

A few of the topics to be discussed by Boscola’s interns are:  Marcellus Shale drilling, jobs and our local economy, transportation issues including road construction, use of DNA in law enforcement, economic benefits of hunting, and more.

“Partnering with the Bethlehem Area Public Library has provided yet another avenue for our interns to learn more about state government and public policy,” Boscola said.  “Those who attend will have an opportunity to see first-hand what bright young talent we have here in the Lehigh Valley.”
