Easton Area Satellite District Office Now Open!

On December 1, 2014, new district line for the 18th Senatorial District took effect, which meant that my district once again included Easton, Palmer, Glendon, Tatamy, West Easton, Williams Township and Wilson.

To better serve the residents of the Easton area, I have opened a satellite district office at 1701 Washington Blvd in Wilson.  This address may sound familiar as Senator Mensch had maintained an office at the same location and it is my belief for continuity sake that by locating my office at the same location, I can best serve these areas.

The satellite office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  It can be reached at 610-250-5627.

Also, my Bethlehem District office remains willing and able to assist you with any state related matter you have.  Whether it’s asking about a specific piece of legislation or the need to get a birth certificate, driver’s license, vehicle registration or completing a property tax or rent rebate to name just a few of the services Facebook/Twitter Facebook Twitter that are available to you, my Bethlehem office at One East Broad Street, Suite 120 is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  Please feel free to give my office a call at 610-868-8667.  Or if you want to reach out to me after hours, please go to my website at or reach out to me on social media outlets such as Facebook at or on Twitter at @SenLisaBoscola.

Update on Rt. 412 Construction

constructionThere have been many concerns raised over the timeline for the completion of the Route 412 project in South Bethlehem, concerns which I share.  Last August, I convened a meeting with other government officials, business owners and residents regarding the need to expedite the completion of this important project.  At that time PennDOT stated that they felt action could be taken to ensure the construction could be completed by the end 2015.

As we anxiously look to the spring of 2015, PennDOT has announced that they remain on schedule to ensure that two lanes of traffic will be open for traffic.  According to PennDOT, the contractor is scheduled to complete the construction of the entire southbound Rt 412 roadway, curb and sidewalk in the southern and northern sections by the fall of 2015.  The completion of the Saucon Creek Bridge and center section roadway is on schedule to be completed by the end of 2015.

While the roadway and bridge work will be done by the end of this year, there still remains additional work to be completed in 2016, but should not involve the traffic disruptions that accompany the roadwork.  This remaining work includes any remaining median work, installation of the pavement wearing course, permanent pavement markings, traffic signals, street lighting, signing and landscaping.
