Our Democracy

There is an important election this November and whether you are a Democrat, Republican or Independent, there is only one way to make your voice heard at election time and that is to vote.  Voting is not just a privilege, but it is our civic responsibility and one of the ways we, the people, can influence the direction we Register to Vote Register to Vote want our elected officials to take our country and state. 

However, in order to make your voice heard, you need to be registered to vote.  The deadline to register is fast approaching on October 11, 2016, and I do not want you to miss your opportunity because you, your family members, friends or neighbors were unaware of this important deadline.

You can register on-line here.  Or, my office has the form, so stop by, and we will assist you with any questions.  Please do not overlook this simple step, so that you can exercise your right to vote in this election and every election thereafter.  Our democracy relies upon an informed public participating in elections Federal, state and municipal.  The will of our people can only be served by greater participation in the elections that determine your representatives in our government.
