Apply & Enroll in 2019 Coverage Today

Healthcare EnrollmentGetting coverage is an important first step to better health and well-being!

Coverage isn't only important when you are sick, it’s helpful when you don’t feel sick.

Make sure you shop around. Even if you’re happy with your current policy, you may have more options this year, as some carriers have expanded their footprints. Additionally, your premium subsidy for next year could change, so it’s important to input your projected 2019 income into the enrollment form to get an updated estimate of what you’ll pay in premiums.

Beat the December 15, 2018 deadline to enroll in health coverage that starts January 1, 2019. To be eligible to enroll in Marketplace health coverage, you must live in the United States, must be a U.S. citizen or national (or be lawfully present), and can't be incarcerated. Visit the Insurance Marketplace for all the information you need to get started!

The Low-Income Heating & Energy Assistance Program Opens TODAY!

LIHEAPLIHEAP helps families that are living on low incomes pay their heating bills in the form of a cash grant. Crisis grants also are for households in immediate danger of being without heat.  With cash grants, a one-time payment is sent directly to the utility company/fuel provider and will be credited on your bill. Cash grants range from $200 to $1,000 based on household size, income, and fuel type. Remember: This is a grant and does not have to be repaid.

No family should be left in the cold this winter.  Fortunately, help is available to those who need it through LIHEAP – I urge you to check your eligibility & apply now.

You can apply for the LIHEAP benefits online using COMPASS, an online tool for Pennsylvanians to apply for health and human service programs and manage benefit information. You may also visit one of my offices for assistance from my staff or visit your local county assistance office.
