Senate Democratic Policy Committee Hearing

Senate Democratic Policy Committee Hearing

Addiction is a treatable disease - sadly, we will continue to struggle fighting this war on opioid addiction & overdose as long as drugs are more accessible than treatment. Failure is NOT an option when it comes to tackling this epidemic our Commonwealth is facing - opioid prescribing remains far higher in the U.S. than in other countries, despite continuous efforts to reduce inappropriate & unnecessary prescribing.

Please join the conversation Friday on how we can continue to combat & treat this overdose epidemic.  The hearing at the University of Pennsylvania – Fagin Hall is open to the public however if you are unable to attend, please feel free to stream LIVE on my website at If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions you can always contact one of my offices, email me at or reach out on any one of my social media platforms and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.
