On February 23, 2015 ·
Positions available in Northampton & Lehigh Counties
As in years past, PennDOT is sponsoring an extensive SUMMER EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SEP). The program runs from May through August to supplement the permanent workforce.
The Government Services Interns are utilized primarily for summer maintenance and sign upgrade services. They perform laboring duties in maintenance organizations and at worksites along the highway.
Requirements are full-time college enrollment in any major and the student must be enrolled for Fall 2015 classes. A PA driver’s license is also required. The hourly rate is $12.43.
Candidates must apply online at www.employment.pa.gov.
Click on “Job opportunities” link under “Applicants” on right side of screen, and then go to second page of listings and click on “Student Summer Employment Positions.” Click on “Apply” and you will need to register and complete application from there.
All applicants must apply online at the above internet address AND notify Kurt Derr of Senator Boscola’s Office by 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with name, address, social security number and County of preference (can give more than one county).
Contact Kurt Derr at 610.868.8667 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Final Selection to be made by PennDOT.
