Bethlehem, January 17, 2018 – State Sen. Lisa Boscola today provided the following comment about the opening of Pennsylvania’s first medical marijuana dispensary, located in Bethlehem:

“I’m pleased by what Keystone Canna Remedies in Bethlehem will mean to our community — and economy. Beyond that, I’m heartened by what this facility represents to sick children, ailing war veterans, seniors and others who rely on medical marijuana to treat a wide range of serious medical illnesses and conditions.

“I proudly supported the legislation that established the state’s medical marijuana program, and worked with Keystone Canna Remedies throughout the application process to facilitate their successful opening.  I am pleased that the first dispensary is opening up right here in the Lehigh Valley.  Pennsylvania’s law strikes a good balance between appropriate regulatory safeguards and expediting the availability of medical marijuana for those who need it.”
